What a weekend

Kathy Back already -WOW! I forgot it was just a quick trip-Sounds like it was a Good trip

Liz-Congradulations on the New Job and the new trip in June

I got to come home Sunday to a mess!!!

After working all night-12hours and no break-Nothing!!! I barely had time to drink 1/2 my soda that night!!(isn't that illegal or something) Anyways

After that terrible night-I went to wake the kids up for the day-and found Catie had a Not so nice laceration under her L eye -so back to my work We went-3 stitches later I finally got to sleep for about an hour before the end of season soccer party and then slept 2 1/2 more hour and got to work all night-love that night shift

I guess Kyle thought it would be a good idea to practice his form for sword fighting at 11:30 at night and Catie thought it would be funny to scare him while he was outside practicing-Well... never walk up behind someone with a sword!!! Lucky for us it was only his sword case/sheath or he could of killed her!!!

And no one thought to wake up Dad to mention that she was hurt and might need some attention-No No lets just shove some toilet paper into it until it stops bleeding and wait for Mom to look at it-Ughhh!!!!

Kids you got to Love them!!!!

So I think I'm going to take a nap-I'm on-call tonight and I still haven't caught up on my sleep from this weekend-So I'll hopefully get to talk to someone later

Kids! Glad it wasn't worse than three stitches! I can't believe they didn't wake your DH up! Well, then maybe I can....

....reminds me of a story from a few years ago. I may have shared it here before. I got a call at work one day from DD. She was in an absolute panic! She was helping us out by watching her brothers and she and Matthew were rough-housing and he lost his balance and busted open the back of his head on the brick fireplace mantel. She was yelling into the phone, "there's blood all over." (Luckily those head wounds bleed a lot but usually aren't as bad as the blood makes them appear!) Here I am at work, 15 miles from home, holding the phone and trying not to panic! But I knew exactly what to tell her to do......










































GO UPSTAIRS AND WAKE YOUR FATHER UP!!!! Here he is, a trained first responder, asleep in the house and she calls me at work! She'll never live that one down!

I know!!! I even had my cell phone with me so at least they could of called me and mentioned the problem so I could of told then to wake up their Dad!!!!-Big Chickens!!!!-But we were lucky this time!!! It could of been a lot worse had he had his sword instead of the just the case!!!
