And my vacation really starts in 8 days I think I'll need that day to get everything ready and the pets set on auto mode

I hope they do OK-I figured the Hammy Hams wont mind at all-just spead tons of food in the cages and a full water bottle-But the Bird seems to go thru the food faster

so I might have to pay the neighbor girl(Catie's friend) to come down and feed him at least once!!! or twice

another snow day here. The wind chills are too cold for the walkers / bus riders so they have to cancel school.

Right now it's 0, with a wind chill of -15.

Ours is the week after Easter. Not sure of the dates but I know that the 9th falls in that week.

I'm pretty sure ours is the second week of April. I'll have to check. Looks like you, Kelli and I will be staggerring our trips one week after each other.

Oh my...I just saw on the BB that Anna Nicole Smith passed away...that is so sad...her poor baby

It just didn't work out for her.

She ended up getting TWO shots. The poor thing started asking me the minute I picked her up from school.


But in the end I had to do what was best for her. She CRIED AND CRIED.

I am off today but have a fairly busy day planned. I've got to go get my headlights replaced (I've been driving with only one headlight for a little while and last night the other one went out - so I had to drive home with my hi-beams on. Bet other drivers loved me!) Then I have a dentist appointment for a filling and to have a tooth pulled.

DD came up yesterday and we had an appointment to see the hall. She was very excited about it...much more than I thought she would be. She has so many ideas in her head!

Then after work she and I went to every hotel in the area for prices and to see rooms. There are only about ten hotels in the area. Two are absolute dumps that we wouldn't even put our furry human at. I can't believe the price of the others! Some of these places want $150-$160 for a standard room (2 queen beds - nothing special)! We did find a very nice suite at the Best Western and she's pretty sure that's what they're going to get for the wedding night and maybe the next night.

Tomorrow I'm going to Charlotte for the day and we're going wedding dress shopping. Oh, this is happening all too fast!

She did find two dresses on-line that she thinks she likes better than the other one she had found (the halter / backless style). I like them much better than the first one she found:
