Me too. And DD is totally excited about it because she is learning about these stuff in school.

She has a list of all the places she wants to see.

The problem is not know the area. I want to get a hotel in the nice part of town. Matter of fact I am looking into staying in Va.

lol! I bet she could have a good time no matter where she went

I haven't been in about 10 years....but back then some parts of the area were very dangerous. Best to pick a safe, tourist spot to stay.

They didn't believe the womans mom when she told them they were brother and sister and they fell in love, but they ended up having the same dad

I was reading about the dangers of Jamaica the other day...it is one of the top three "murder capitals" ...we went in college and of course did many things that weren't the safest, like young women walking alone at night I think I am overparniod now to make up for the stupid $#!^ I did as a kid

Yep, best to keep safe whereever you are. I think if you stick to the National Mall/ landmarks and the government buildings during the day it is safe. Maybe be careful where you go after dark to eat and how you travel.

Trust me I don't plan to roam around after dark in a strange town. Especially like DC where people are not happy with the Pres.
