Tomorrow is the day that I am supposed to go to Pigeon Forge Christmas shopping with my friend. It'll be the first time I've gone away overnight with a friend like this and left DH and the boys at home. And - of course - one of the boys woke up this a.m. with a cold!! Now I'm torn.

You better go-I'm sure DH can handle this-it's just a cold and we all survive those nasty buggers-it's not BIG Enough to ruin you trip-PLUS

if something would change and he got worse you're not across the US-you're only 3-4hrs away???

GO Kathy-he'll be fine really-How old is this one??? I'm sure even by morning he'll be feeling better

hello everyone

another long day (work at 5am) and then I come home and have to do more chores. YUck! I don't mind the normal chores, but I just can't stand coming home and having to clean up from meals that I wasn't even here for.

just been working on those darn clues and now I'm sleepy-time for a quick nap(i'm so lazy today) so be back later

OK-lets try this again-The Clues are in regards to a BIG SEcret Virtual Game coming soon to the DIS with real life rewards!!! But No details have been given-JUST Clues!!! so I've been trying to piece them together and have been basically ignored for the most part

although one clue pointed to ckckc2000as having a green check mark-as if I was correct-or at least on the right track-but it got shot down quickly since it was all done with pictures (sea/kay/.....)but who knows

so I'm patiently waiting for more clues and hopefully one time they will start falling into place

and now I have to get dinner going before DH comes home-so have a good evening-I might pop back on later

Yep, I'm still gonna go. DH and I talked about it and if tomorrow was a regular day and I wasn't going away then I would have to work. Would I call in sick? No. Would DH stay with him since DH is off tomorrow? Yes. And you are right, I'm only going to be 3 hours away. Thanks for taking the guilt off me.

This one is the 12 year old - and he says he is feeling a little better this evening.

So what did the eye specialist say?

And he can't go back to work until after Thanksgiving now?

there is a growth of some sort, hopefully a pollop (sp?) but the new dr is the surgeon so they should know what to do after we see this one. They don't want him back to work because they are afraid he will have double vision and fall (DH does construction)

Today's the day...finally.

I'm taking the boys to school at 7:30, getting gas, heading back this way to pick my friend up and then we're on our way!

Now knowing what your DH does I can see why they don't want him going back to work. For some reason I thought he had some sort of desk job.
