Thanks Kathy - I am tired, stressed and overwhelmed. I am going to bed.

I was going to wait up on DH but I still have to pack for G.S. camping which is tomorrow.

Talk to you later.

Maybe the camping trip will help you to de-stress a little! Enjoy your time with DD!

I remember it being a totally different environment than WDW in that it seemed to be stuck right in the middle of Anaheim.
It used to be in the middle of nowhere, I think it was an orange grove. Knotts Berry Farm was really a berry farm and started with Mrs. Knotts selling chicken dinners...urban life spread around it.

Kliz, great news on G!!! still reading back, I hope the updates continue to be good :thumbsup2

Pam, JMHO, but DL has many more attractions than MK, but the 2 parks are nowhere near as big as WDW is. You should take a look at the maps at the Disneyland website. If we had never been to any Disney parks, I think it would take my family with little kids about 2 or 3 full days during non-peak season. For us, Califonia Adventure wouldn't take a day, but we spend a lot of time at DL....so a park hopper is really good to have. Of course, one trip we were there for 8 days and somehow were very busy :teeth:

oh, and check a map of the area, most of the offsite hotels are right across the street from the entrance and waaayyyyy closer than the Disneyland hotel.

I don't know if I posted before or not. But she has been very sick for several months and they thought she had liver cancer. Which I thought was ruled out. And she was starting to feel a little better. But never really looked right to me. You could just tell something is still wrong.

But they are from the old school and Dr's are just overpriced people who want to run you thru hoops. So I think they tend to wait until things are too bad before they tell someone.

Anyways we think that her problems are still with her liver. But we don't know anything for sure.

They are still in the ER and playing the waiting game.

I will pray for her :grouphug:

DD and her BF just left. We had a really nice evening. She wanted a home-cooked meal so I fixed boneless grilled chicken, spinach tortellini in homemade alfredo sauce (oh-it was sooooo good), green beans, corn, a big salad and garlic bread. She also wanted a home-made cake so I made a yellow cake with chocolate icing.

DH and her BF talked and DH really seemed to like him! :yay: And he did not seem intimidated by DH at all! I hope our family - as crazy and weird as we may be - didn't scare him off!

DD said that once they got about half an hour from home BF started talking about how beautiful it was up here. He kept asking her why she would want to move away to a big city and leave all this. Hmmmmm. That's what we keep wondering!

I am glad you had a Good VIsit

Jess is up

the last few weeks both girls have been having trouble sleeping thru the night again

SO i am going to sit with her

I've got a long day today. Working at the store 8-4, run home and get the boys and get back to town (and across town) for a 6:15 soccer game!

Hope everyone has a great day!
