maybe once the younger ones leave home :scratchin-that may be a possibility-my sister had a blue '76 firebird

I'd love to be able to get one in the next two years that we could all fix up together for Andrew and Matthew to drive. (But it would be "my" car! :teeth: )

Here's one like my second car but mine was silver. It's a 1976.

I've had a terrible week!!! Finally got the kids registered for school-but it wasn't any easy task!!!!

I'm sorry you've had such a bad week. Why was it so hard to get the kids registered? (Sorry if you posted and I missed it. There were one or two days this week where I didn't read back.)

where to start-the short version is they had to have all the GA forms signed by GA doctors for immun/hearing/vision

and since we're new-I haven't a clue who to choose-so we had to go to the County Health Dept-took us over 3 hrs of lines and waiting and finally got everything done

then off to the school the next day were they couldn't find the papers I filled out on Monday!!!FOund then after 20 minutes and then finally they got registered!!!!

Thanks-it's just been an endless nightmare of paperwork for the DMV and the school system-and we still have 2 vehicles to register-we have to have some required paperwork sent in the mail-since they don't except faxes!!!!

so my kiddos finally start school on Monday-and hopefully they'll find all sorts of new friends(I hope,I hope) :cheer2:

 What a hassle!

I absolutely hate having to go to the health department. Such an assembly line!

OK-I have a few things to go and take care of-I am at work you know-so I better actually do some more work

Hope you have a great night Kathy :wave2:

I did read that you got DD registered for soccer! That's great. I just registered Matthew for soccer, too.

You got that right :sad2: -after the school absolutely refused to register my kids without the forms-we headed over there, and the line was at least 50 people long all of us needing the same stupid forms-so I walked out and came back the next day

His first hearing is 9/11. (What a day, huh?) We may have a meeting with the gaurdian ad litem before that, I'm not sure. I will give her a call next week if we don't hear from her.

Yeah, I still chuckle about them thinking it was DH. That's something that'll be talked about for a while! :rotfl:
