welcome back Kathy! Glad you made it back safely.



Well, I usually have Tues-Thur off, but I volunteered to go in 5am-9am.

We just did our back to school clothes shopping and I need to work some major extra hours!

We were so lucky this year with hand-me-downs. A friend of mine brought over three boxes about three weeks ago, all assorted sizes that fit all three boys!!! All we had to buy this year was shoes and backpacks. That really helped A LOT! We got the boys shoes over in Pigeon Forge this weekend at the Nike outlet!

She will have a blast. Trust me that last skating party of the year she was hitting the ground so hard it brought tears to my eyes. And she would just get up and keep going.

How did it go? Did she have fun?

They just switched everyone here on the public system to the same year-round schedule and we LOVE it! they get 6 weeks at summer, 1 week in October, 3 weeks during the holidays and 2 weeks in March our weather here is basically the same all year round, so it is not like the summers are hot or we have snow days...so the school schedule is pretty set

DD did great Ice skating. It took her a little bit to get used to it and than she was off. Than we came home and I took a nap. Than I took her see Barnyard while DH is playing poker.

Sounds like you both had fun!!


How was the movie?

It was pretty funny. It would have been better if the people next to us didn't talk thru the whole movie.

i slipped on a garbage bag someone dropped at work and wrenched my
back
if they dropped it why not pick it up???

those things are like Ice when you are walking fast on them

yesterday i went to a birthday party for a kid in my class and it was a pool party...
it was fun...
today i'm going to my real aunt and uncle's house to swim and eat and stuff...

by them time next Mon comes around I am going to be working 11 days straight. The money will help, but I am going to be tired! Almost every day this week I'm going to be going in at 5am!!

that makes sense!! They say the average american family spends 300-500$$$$ Per kid on back to school!!! We always wore uniforms, and so do DSS and DSD so its not very much for clothing, but school supplies and books add up.
