whew... back from the store, lunch, the bank, another store, the gas station, another store....it is hot out today and I am tired now!

I have tomorrow off but I volunteered to work tomorrow night. I normally wouldn't but I just bought $150 worth of school clothes..and that was only for 2 kids! :faint:

Homeschooling is looking pretty good again :rotfl:

I going to have to be asking for some extra hours all summer!!

Well update on my Mom.

Things are not looking good. Of course she is in the hospital so they run all kinds of tests due to her past history.

She had to go and do a stress test this morning and they found some area that didn't look good. So now they are talking about doing catheterization. She called me crying and upset.

I am getting to the end of my rope here. It is taking everything I have to keep myself together.

It means that the blood is not flowing thru her heart the way it should. Meaning it could be a blockage stopping the flow of blood. She has had stents before and that is what they are talking about doing again.

When the balloon is inflated, the stent expands, locks in place and forms a scaffold. This holds the artery open. My older brother had a heart attack last year at age 42!!! He had a stent inserted also. He was up and out within the week and is doing GREAT now!!! :thumbsup2

Hopefully things will go as smoothly for your Mom.

That is great news for your brother.

My Mom has several of them already. She is just very upset right now. This was totally unexpected and she was supposed to leave on a two week vacation on Saturday.

Kelli, I am so sorry. I feel like I should post something to help you look on the bright side.... like thankfully they found this before her trip....but quite frankly, this whole thing really sucks...I wish you Mom wasn't in the hospital and you all weren't in this stressful situation...you have had your plate full this entire year :guilty:

Lyn - Thanks for just being here to listen to me. That means so much.

Yes it sure does seem like it. And yes I have thought about the brightside. That they are not aware of another problem and can fix it. Her vacation might be canceled but we will deal with that.

Just got home from work and haven't had a chance to read back but I scrolled back quickly to see how your mom was doing.

Kelli - I'm so sorry that your mom is going through this! I know how hard it is as I've been through it with my mom! One thing to consider, though, is that this whole bug spray incident may actually have been a blessing in disguise because they may have caught something early!

Please don't feel as though you're at the end of your rope. You need to be strong for your mom, but you need to take care of yourself because she needs you and you'll be no good to her if you let yourself stress out or run down.

Remember that we are all here for you whether you need to talk, vent or cry!! :grouphug:

Now I'll go read back and catch up on all the details!

BTW-- the dolphins don't do "tricks" they on ly do things they would do in the wild (I never saw a dolphin in the wild, but I don't think they would play with beach balls? )

When we used to live in FL we would have dolphins come up to our dock all the time. Never saw one with a beach ball, though!

we had a better day yesterday-took the kids to Six Flags and it was such a Hot day and Humid-rained from 3:30 to almost 6pm-went and ate luch/dinner in the van and by the time we got back all the rides had reopened-it was a great day!!!

I almost have all my test and paperwork done-we are waiting to get our GA Licenses til our life settles done a bit(we have 30 days) I start work tomm if all is in order and hopefully it will
