Every since I was a little girl I always wanted to learn how to be a bartender( i know that's a crazy thing for a little girl to want, but I used to want to learn how to flip the bottles and stuff in the air)(then when I got older I wanted to learn how to make my favorite drinks) so I was bored the other day and found a bartending school here in Houston, it's a 2 week course, and the price includes tuition, books, materials, certification, and job placement. I thought maybe it would give me something to do till I can find a job or just something to do during the day, but I have a friend whos a bartender and he told me I could make alot of money if I was a bartender. So I was thinking maybe I could work as a bartender for about a year and save some money, then I could take morning classes and work at night till I'm done with school. I'm really liking this idea, and everyone says it could work for me. The class really isn't that much, but I don't have the money. My mom said she can give me half, but I need to come up with the other half. She thinks I should call me dad and ask him for it, she's right, I've NEVER EVER asked him for anything EVER and this would be the 1st time if I asked him for it, but I don't know if I can make myself call him to ask for money. I don't know what to do.
I know! But I didn't get home till after midnight, then I just wanted to go to sleepkimmar067 said:...you knuckle-head...it was on TWICE!!!

We're not close at all! She says he owes it to me and really wants me to ask him for it. I don't want to. I've never asked him for anything b4 I've always found away to get things done on my own, but I just don't see how I can do this. I don't have much that I can sell to raise money, but I really want this.kimmar067 said:...well, how close are you with your dad, and how much money are you gonna borrow??? I'd ask ~ the worse he can say is "No".....

2 weeks isn't too long a time to learn something new...just make sure you get a job in a safe establishment....we don't want you dancing on tables
