how cute one of my coworkers just had a baby, she is about 2 months old and was sooooo cute in the pictures. I got choked up thinking about my kids...it is a lot of work and very exhausting, but they are so cute and wonderful at that age (well, so far they are cute and wonderful at every age mine have been at....but rumor has it they turn into teenagers )

I was planning on stopping at the store after work and then going home and making my cupcakes and other cakes for DD's birthday. In the last half hour the following has happened:

1. One of the guys at work (lives near me) needs a ride home since his car isn't fixed.

2. DH went home for a really late lunch since he couldn't eat earlier in the day...saw a buck in our property...so he will be cleaning it tonight.

3. It is DSil birthday and so she called to invite us to dinner. Told her about my baking plans and the deer....so now the party is most likely at my house so that everyone can eat, play, etc. while my cakes are in the oven.

It's a good thing I tried to clean up last night for tomorrow's party
