Good Morning Everyone. I think I'm finally rested up from the marathon trip to PA. Those trips wear me out!

Hey Kelli - I think you were right! Maybe it's time our luck is changing for the better.

We've been planning to do some logging on our property for about two years but haven't been able to find somebody reliable to do it the way we want it done. (We don't want it clear cut - or stripped - we only want the bigger trees taken.) We finally found someone last fall and he was going to start around the first of the year...then in February...then in March. Well, you get the picture. So we were really starting to get discouraged! That money would really help right now!!

Imagine coming home past your property and seeing a road cut up into your property and a big site cleared out! When we came by around 4 a.m. yesterday that's what we saw. We had only been gone that one day but they got in and cleared that much! We have about 1/4 mile of road frontage with our property across the street and this will be about an 1/8 of a mile from the house so we won't even see it from the house.

Now maybe things are looking up.

the poor kids... they haven't even gotten to leave the house yet!!

My in-laws are homebodies and would rather sit at home, so that's what the kids have been doing. FIL took dh and I to an indian casino yesterday afternoon...it was pretty fun, but didn't really pay anything out.
