The only thing I ever won was a cd and a gift card, I don't think I even went to pick it up :confused3 BUT I really want to go see Blue October!!! PLUS if I had won I could've invited victor to go with me. There is no way I'm gonna get tickets and the show is tomorrow :guilty:

KEEP TRYING! That would be a great way to break the ice with Victor! :teeth:

Oh-oh....from weather.com

"Severe thunderstorms are, or will be, threatening portions of the South today with large hail, damaging wind gusts and perhaps a tornado or two.

Severe storms will be ongoing through the morning in eastern Tenneessee and a small portion of western North Carolina. This afternoon the threat will broaden to include the remainder of Tennessee, portions of Kentucky, much of Georgia and Alabama and northern Mississippi."

That's us!

Doesn't look like this rain will be letting up soon, either...

We're on the far right, near Boone.

Yeah it would be, but I really don't think I'm gonna get through, plus today is the last day since the show is tomorrow. They are giving away tickets to 2 things, the band will play at the radio station and at the club. But the only place to get the tickets is from the station now. I even looked it up on ebay the other day and someone was selling tickets for the club show for $159.00!! that was the other day, I'm sure they are way more now!

So how was DS and DD's day at school yesterday?
It was very positive :goodvibes everyone missed them and were very nice...one of DH's best friends from childhood's sister works there, and she told him that things have been much more peaceful without the disruptive child. DD's teacher was almost in tears talking to DH on how much she missed DD and how sad it would have been if the kids didn't come back and that she had wanted to call us several times.

The kids had a lot of fun and we very hyped when they got home, so that was good. This morning they still wanted to go to Mama's  not that they didn't enjoy school, they just love it at her house *spoiled* ...she will make them whatever they want for breakfast, french toast, pancakes, hot cereal ,etc. and they have fun all day...that is so hard to compete with...I would rather be there too than here  but, they did go to school and DH said it was fine when they got there :thumbsup2

Very good. I was hoping that things would be better for them.
:thumbsup2

Well I need to finish up somethings here and will be trying to leave a few minutes early to get DD to her meeting.

Have a wonderful evening, if I don't talk to you again later.
