Lyn: I'm so glad that ds got to rest some yesterday, and you!! I'm sure he'll start to feel better soon..... of course he may figure out that sick = mom and ice cream and never want to get better!!

Kim: I can't believe how much you've gotten done so far on the house! Great Job!! Don't you just hate that all your house projects don't get done until you're ready to sell...so you get to live in the house the way you dreamed of for what a month while it's on the market We did that last time we moved... I always wanted a yellow kitchen, so we painted it for the move and I got it for about a month.

Kayla: you have a great day with DH! I got to eat lunch with my dh with no kids for the first time yesterday in ...uh...well I think it was the first time EVER since we had kids!!

Kathy: have fun collecting all that money

Tracy: where are you off to so early again?? Taking Andie to school?

Kelli: where are you this morning?? Is it just too early for you?

Pam: hope you got all your paperwork done. Are you excited about spring break? Are you going anywhere?

Kelly: you DO need some downtime. Have you gotten that opening filled yet? Do you still love it as much as you did last year? Did you ever get Darren his ice cream

Today I am going to try to get this house under control..it is so messy! Tonight Madison has her first school play/program. I need to make sure that I have the video camera's batteries all charged up and ready to go!

I took DS in and the doctor thinks it is a viral infection...so it may be a couple more days of fever, but he basically told me to keep doing what we have been doing. They did swab his throat to make sure it wasn't strep...
DS was a live wire all day, but fell asleep in the car just before I hit our driveway....he is still sleeping, it has been almost 4 hours...I am so glad he is resting...and, I got to take a long nap too

I spoke with my Mom this morning...she seemed o.k. and was still resting. I made a turkey soup today in my crockpot...it is only lightly seasoned and has a lot of broth, so I am going to take some to her tonight, or DH can take it and then we can check in on her. I didn't want to take DS up there since he is sick, don't want to expose my Mom to his germs, and he was with me all day. I couldn't help but laugh when I was making the soup, I used the drumsticks and wings that I had frozen from Mr. Turkey I cooked a few months back, and didn't know about his secret stash of goodies

Otherthan that, all is well

Kliz, how exciting your trip to CA is soon and I think you know what to expect and would have a great time in July in WDW.

Kayla, if you get stuck on the Japanese writing I can ask DH's family.

Even though they said to expect a couple more days of fever I really hope he doesn't get it.

Glad to hear that you both got a chance to get some rest.

sleeping of course-and soccer started today for DD- on top of taekwondo tryouts for belt advancement and CCD class for DD ran around like crazy and still got 2 loads of wash done

sorry to hear you had a quiet/boring day!!!

but on the positive note DS is going to get an award for taekwondo we find out what it is on saturday morning-and he passed his testing so far-just needs to break the board on Sat and then he'll be a hi green belt

Oh and did I mention what BIL did the other day?????

well-this is such him!!!!No brains at all!!! Ok he has his own BR that we only use in emergencies and I usually dry my hair in that one since it's far away from the living room

so I go in there and what do I find????? But the sink is running water at a steady slow stream and it's the HOT water to boot!!!!

This water had been on since around 8-9am and it was now 4pm!!!! and we have a holding tank so everything that drains into it from the house has to be pumped out for 110.00 bucks!!! we usually have to do this every1-2months but now it may be a lot sooner!!!! What a Dumb#$$!!!!!!(we just had the darn thing pumped too!)plus lets not mention the cost of running Hot water ALL DAY!!!!!

Okay he doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed.

well things are moving right along-I painted the rec room part of the basement this past Saturday-only took me 4 1/2 hrs to get it done(12X30 room) and even painted the crown moulding white so it really looks nice

DH got the wall patched back up where the past owners managed to put a hole thru a cinder block-which in turned caused the block to leak water into the basement-Not anymore

yesterday DH raked the lawn(1/2 acre by hand-poor fellow,he's a bit sore today)

we moved a bunch of stuff to a storage shed from the basement-plenty more to go-will I ever get that darn basement empty!!!

and I cleaned about 3/4 of the garage out yest too!!! lots of garbage-those poor garbage men!!!

Only have 2 bedrooms and a kitchen to paint

need to replace the kitchen counter top and replace the tile(linoeum press down) in the kitchen too!!

then we should be ready to show

Oh I forgot the outside needs to be tweaked too-some painting on the shed and back door plus we could really use a new front door(there's a crack in it)

NOT much to do in 4 weeks is it

I'm sure I left out a few things but that's what we have to do and that's why I'm having trouble sleeping soundly lately-my mind keeps going over everything that still needs to be done and then I can't sleep!!!!

I have faith that you will get it all done. The faster you get it done the faster you can sell your house and move to GA.
