My Mom was looking better this afternoon when I went to see her...after I finished work. When I got there she was standing up and brushing her hair...which I thought was a huge step forward. Other than going to the bathroom, I hadn't seen her choose to stand for days

Looks like she will be home tomorrow...so I may try and check in on her in the morning, before work again. She must be feeling better, she is going to try and set up one of the nice nurses with my 1st cousin

I am just worried about when she goes home...but on the good side, she is taking off of work for two weeks and plans on resting. I looked at her diet list today, so tomorrow night I am going to take over some of my freezer cooking that she can eat (like mashed potatoes and brocolli soup) so that she just needs to heat it up...other than that, I don't think there is much more I can do.

I feel really bad that other people on the LTP have family/in-law problems too, but it is nice to know I am not alone

The is good news to hear about your Mom getting better and going home.

Too funny about her working her Magic between your Cousin and the Nurse.

Of course we all have our own problems, that is just life. That is why I said VENT AWAY~ Because I knew sooner or later I would probably need to vent to someone who is not going to get upset or angry at the things that I say.

Kelli seems like just the sweetest person...she could pass as Sleeping Beauty with her golden hair and kind disposition....I just think it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO FUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYY that we label her as a person with a closet full of weapons

Man oh man - I couldn't get on the boards for a long time.

It was like the whole place crashed or something.

His Mother has ALOT of issues. And I do feel very sorry for him.

My brother is lucky to have some good friends that will drive there and pick up his son and keep him.

He didn't tell us what was going on until the last minute. He gets very defensive when we try to talk to him about anything. Drive me crazy - he always has. I feel like I have been bailing him out all my life and he is older than me.

Your brother sounds like mine, but mine is 3 years younger. He is "smarter" than me he has his PHd and he and his wife are always having "issues" usually due to her "issues" and I end up watching the baby--- and now babies!!!

She has a DD that is 22 and you should hear her talk about her Mom. Very sad.

She has given birth to two child but has never been a Mother to either one.

and to think that you have to take a test to get a drivers license!!! anyone can give birth, but some people shouldn't be parents!!!!

Yep. His Sister really stepped up to the plate to help out. Especially when they were living here. She would keep him for days.

It was so sad. Her Mother screwed up big time and ended up not coming to her OWN DD wedding. My poor brother was a mess. But she made choices and of course the rest of us had to pick up the pieces to make it all better as much as we could.

Very true!! My brother drives me crazy! Now he's saying he wants to move in with us! I told him if he does, I've moving out!! I said it in a joking way, but I meant it. I can't even imagine having to do that again
