I am so mad right now!

They've reopened mine. It will take 24 hours though to be re-activated. No big deal for me!

They will not do anything about DH's account until he calls but even if he calls from Space Camp he still won't be able to use it for 24 hours. That's the only credit card he's got with him!

The thing that has me so upset is that I've been checking these accounts online and they still show the available balances, no notation about being closed! The other thing is that I asked for written verification that they had closed the one account for each of us and I've not received anything!

I sent them a letter and in the middle of the letter I could not have made it any clearer ---

*Close account #xxxxxxxxxxx, I do not accept the new terms on this account!
*DO NOT CLOSE ACCOUNT #xxxxxxxxxx, I ACCEPT THE NEW TERMS ON THIS ACCOUNT!

How can you screw that up!

is this Chase (if you don't mind my asking)? I closed my United account after I got the bonus miles...in JANUARY and it still shows it open online even though I closed it...I have called and e-mailed

They're leaving there in a few hours and then they go to the Aquarium in Chattanooga. And DH was planning to take Matthew and the other boys in his group to TGIFridays or another nice restaurant by the Aquarium for lunch. Each group is doing lunch on their own. They each get $5 but he was going to pay the difference for something nicer. When Andrew went the chaperone that was with his group did this and it's one of Andrew's good memories...cause they all got a little extra on that last day! But as long as he's got the debit card he'll be okay.
