Yep! DH and DS are home! The bus pulled in around 11:30 last night! I can't believe I missed them so much.

I told DH that he can deal with his credit card mess later today! He's thrilled.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words....you all are the greatest

My DSis called late last night that the test came back and my Mom's colon (sp?) is "thick" so the doctor thinks it is irritated from what ever intestinal things she has. They can't go in there now, since it may rupture from being too screwed up, but later she will need a colenospaky (sp?) They also think that the bug or food poisining thing stipped her intestines and that is causing the bleeding. So far, her blood count is high enough that she doesn't need a tranfusion I am just worried since she also has diberticulitis (sp?) in her intestines (her sister's have it too, one sister really bad and had part of her intestine removed), high blood pressure, hig colesteral and she has had major liver problems in the past which she got from some of her past medications...I have never seen my Mom drink. So, it is really hard for them to give her medication too, becuase of her liver. And, when I was there were blood pressure wasn't very good

I was so happy, DSis said they are keeping her tonight too...so at least she is safer at the hospital.

My coworker/friend/assistant at work called last night to check how things were going. She had followed up on a document I needed and found out that they had e-mailed it to me. She told me, basically, who cares about work...it can wait until Monday. I agreed, so I didn't go in there today. I think I am going to get dressed and go to the hospital soon, so I am there when the visiting hours start...plus, I think I needed the extra rest. The rest of my housework can wait...

Lyn - Things do sound better. I'm so glad for you.

My mom had diverticulitis and it is very common. It is also very painful and is something that you have to watch constantly so that it doesn't get ahead of you. I have diverticulosis, which is like one step away from diverticulitis so I have a little idea of what she is going through. I also have high blood pressure and the two don't get along well with each other!

Tell your mom that your dis friends are all thinking of her and praying for her. Let us know if there is anything that we can do from here!!

DS had a great time at Space Camp. And for someone who wasn't having a good time DH sure has talked about it a lot! He said the housing (dorms) and food were absolutely terrible but the other stuff was fun. He said he'd like to go back someday as a family not on a tour and do stuff at our own pace.
