I have been invited to several from girls and their families at school, and no matter what the budget the party is always awesome!!! first church and then party. Lots of dancing, and food no matter what the budget!!!

they are so much fun. Not everyone in my family has had one so I guess I can consider myself lucky Even though it was a huge PITA and really hard to go to the bathroom in that dress

Oh wait, yes I did. Just a few friends over - and a guy I liked brought me a rose and gave me a kiss! It was the first time he kissed me.
