2026 Strength Training Accountability Thread

Skipped my workout today. I'm feeling okay after the 10 miler yesterday, but I feel like I need a mental break. So I might take a week off from running and strength and just do my daily walks.

Skipped my workout today. I'm feeling okay after the 10 miler yesterday, but I feel like I need a mental break. So I might take a week off from running and strength and just do my daily walks.

This is smart -- knowing when to take a short break.

Yesterday was textbook high intensity elliptical followed by lower body day with rotary torso at the end. Can I just say that I am still feeling the effects of that pilates/barre class!?!?! I'm tempted to go to the studio in my town but I really don't feel like paying for another membership right now. I guess I could look to some options on YouTube since it would keep me from having to endure a class setting.
