Today we started watching POTC 2 -- we are going to make treasure maps (learning directions, and how to give/follow them).... plus I got to watch a good movie. always a plus for the teacher

Any just where have you been lately? We haven't seen much of you since you got back from your vacation. How the heck are you doing?

I'm ok... just working, working and more working. I'm trying to get as many hours as possible right now (last week had 33) to help pay for those car repairs.

I have an interivew with the school disctrict on Aug 2nd for a subsitute secretarty position. Boy, they make is seem like it's rocket science or something... you have to go through these tests to be eligible to substitute as a secretary. If they only knew how much I actually help the secretaries out at our school...showing them how to work the programs, etc. Oh well, hopefully I'll be qualified enough on hands on experience since I don't have the 4-6 years secretary experience.

Oh, great.. just looked out the window and there's the cat eating a bird in the backyard

yeah, it's just a substitute position, so who knows when I would get called to work. But I am hoping to get a pt job as a recess aide there also. I would just request to work at Kohl's 10hrs a week. Maybe one weeknight and a one weekend day/night.

I know! The circle of life really stinks sometimes. I went and cleaned it up, it's so sad.
