what a beautiful day here today. :sunny:

It's turned out to be beautiful here today too! The sun in shining! It's about 40 degrees! And almost all the snow is gone!

It's supposed to be up in the 70's by the end of the week.

It doesn't look like it will end.. :lmao:

But, on Sunday, my DMIL was watching over DH's Grandfather for the weekend...he is in his mid 90s and has some great days and some not so good days....he was SO HAPPY watching the kids play in the yard...and I brought over lunch so we all (Papa, DMIL, DFIL, DSIL, DH, DSIL's boys, my two and I had one of my Sister's girls) all ate lunch and then the kids played and jumped in our little jumping castle...

Papa just loved watching all the kids and hearing everyone chatting.... :goodvibes

How neat! I wish we had extended family like that!

Kathy, not sure if I told you this, but a while back I made your breakfast dish and my family really enjoyed it :thumbsup2 On Saturday night my DMIL was complementing me on it and when DSIL heard, she asked for the recipe :goodvibes

Glad you tried it! Did you make it with sausage or bacon. (I found out you can also make it with ham!)

DD just called to check in from the beach! She's having a wonderful time.

Gee, mom, why aren't you very talkative?

Uh, gee, I don't know. I'm glad you checked in and that you're okay but :furious:

THAT'S AWESOME! He looks so serious...if He approached me in uniform I think I would be scared ::yes:: :upsidedow

He always looks serious in uniform. You'd swear he was like that all the time. People that meet have met him first in uniform and then see him out of uniform can't believe the difference!

I told him he looks like he's afraid of the ribbon in the picture! :lmao:

He's pretty short for a cop...only 5'10" and not real muscular, so I think he learned early on that he had to have an intimidating personality! And it works!

I have got to get myself motivated to get off this computer and get some stuff done around here. I think I'm just putting off doing the taxes!

Wish me luck. I'll check back in later!

well, I sort of modified it for us...I used Portuguese sausage and left out the mustard seasoning and added pepper and instead of making one dish, I put it in 4 pie pans...DH and I ate one for breakfast (he loved it!!!!), I took one to DMILs which they ate for lunch and froze 2.

DH has an indoor archery meet this weekend...so, I was thinking of making it again...maybe with smoked sausage and putting the mixute in a deep cookie sheet without the bread...baking and then cutting it into rectangles and folding them in half and placing them in english muffins...so the guys can each grab a muffin and eat...no fork or plate required :goodvibes
