:confused3 Last time we went, I had so many things planned so I think I spent way more time planning and picking up stuff we needed for the trip. This time, I have strollers/luggage, etc. already and we are going to just take it easy and enjoy the hotel, go to the water parks more and hit the theme parks...a relaxing vacation :cloud9: so, all I really need to do is park, which I am going to start doing in April :teeth: DH is so excited we can walk to DTD...he was saying that if we get in tired, we should hang out at the hotel for a while and then eat at DTD and hit DisneyQuest :teeth:

Your trip will be here before you know it! did you decide on whether to stay the extra nights? :thumbsup2

we're thinking of going a few days earlier. It will all depend upon if the nieces are coming or not, as we have two rooms booked right now. If they don't come we can use those points to book extra nights.

Right now it doesn't look like they're coming. It wasn't even our idea. It was MIL/FIL's idea and we just agreeded to use more points for them. Their mother is all up in arms that they're going to have to miss some school, 6 days. They're oldest said "It's ok mom. I'll do my homework on the plane and at night. And if I have some problems I can ask Tia Liz!"

both of their parents are teachers and they DO NOT think that I should be allowed to homeschool.. after all I don't have a teaching certificate like they do. I only went to one of the BEST universities in the country, unlike the little old school they attended. (sorry..no one messes with my Longhorns!)

at this point I don't want them to come just b/c of the trouble that I am sure it will cause with their parents.

but we really would LOVE for the girls to come and experience WDW with us.

their parents are going to Mexico in Dec and when the girls asked if they can go they said "NO!"

They just like being with their kids... it's so sad. They go away all the time and leave the kids behind at the grandparents.

But if your doing a good job teaching them who are they to say you shouldn't homeschool.

Trust me, we are having a major problem down here where parents are saying their children are NOT learning. That they are not getting enough one on one attention.

Liz - Keep up the GOOD WORK!!

I am going to be honest, you completely changed my idea of homeschooling. Around here, the people that homeschool seem to be more of the "natural" type and live in areas that don't have, what I would call, basic necessities/sanitary living conditions...and their kids seem to spend quite a bit of time on "life" field trips like going to the beach and grocery shopping :confused3 I may have been exposed to just a few bad apples...but that was what my opionion was, until I met you. And you do such a great job with your kids and they seem to learn so much more than what they would in a traditional setting...and you seem to really care, try and put a lot of effort into schooling them. I give you so much credit for being patient. DH has an education degree and when I tell him what you are doing...he said that is how it should be...he also said that the way people do it out here is :crazy2: They may not understand how hard you work and how much you kids are blossoming :confused3
