well I drove to work to check my schedule... you know I'm feeling sooo much better than the past 3 days..


well I figured out I am NOT well!! I felt so glazed and confused driving! I will not be getting back in the car again today!

I sure hope I feel better by tomorrow night b/c I have to work.

Now I'm a nervous wreck....

Our tones just went off for First Responders but they're being sent to a staging area, which means right now it's too dangerous for them to go to where the real call is. DH is on duty with the Sheriff's Office today and there's a good chance he is where ever this First Responder call is. I will be a nervous wreck until they clear it.

DH is on duty with the Sheriff's Office today and there's a good chance he is where ever this First Responder call is. I will be a nervous wreck until they clear it.

I'm not a First Responder but usually respond to First Responder calls, especially during the day when we're short-handed 'cause so many of our guys work in town. But DH and I have an agreement that I won't respond to ones like this, with staging areas, when he is on duty with the SO. So I just have to sit and wait.

I ended up at a scene once last summer, just by chance I happened upon it and I was the one that had to call the Sheriff's Office. DH was the one that showed up. Once he had the scene in his control I got back in our truck but wouldn't leave until his back-up arrived. I had two DSs with me. I looked back in the rear-view mirror and saw DH draw his gun. OMG! I was so afraid he was going to have to fire it with the boys there. Luckily he didn't and his back-up arrived a few minutes later and we left. It's such a small community that you pretty much know everyone when you go to a call. That incident was with the parent of someone at the school the boys go to.

It's probably nothing today and they're just being extra careful about whatever it is.
