HOpe you guys dont mind if i vent out a little.

My heart was broken last night. My dd6 (foster child) and i were doing a poster for her called "MY FAMILY". Her and I have been talking about it all week. Now all of a sudden she decides she does not want my dh and my picture on there. OH my heart broke into a million pieces. Now this morning she does not want me going to the thanksgiving meal at her school that all parents are invited to. I dont think i have been hurt so bad in a long time. Sorry i just had to talk about it. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY.

Oh I am so sorry. You know the only reason is because she just spent some time with her Dad.

You can vent anything you want. That is what we are here for.

Honestly I am not sure how you can be a Foster Parent. It would break my heart every day.

Walmart online has them. And the Disneyshopping.com. But I have heard that the DS is out of them right now and not sure when they are going to get some back in.

I asked her if she was being this way becasue of seeing her dad...she says no but i think different. It just ticks me off that after me raising her for the past year she is going to treat me this way. Right now since she is going home dec 19th i just really dont care to do anything for her. I know that sounds bad....but i dont.

Steph - I do believe she is saying because she just spent time with her Dad. And maybe she talked a lot about your and your DH and her Dad didn't like that. It is possible that he said stuff to her about you only being there for now. And that he is the REAL Dad type crap.

I have a good friend who fostered 3 brothers for years and endedup adopting them
everytime they spenttime with their Mother they were so nasty to her for 3 or 4 days but now they are a happy family

who knows what went on. I still think their dad is on drugs. they will go back to stay unless dad screws up AGAIN. thank you all for letting me cry on your shoulder. Everyone here is THE BEST!!!! Last night after that happened with DD...I cried...and cried... and cried. DH felt so bad because he understood that i was hurting and wasnt a thing he could do but sit there and rub my back and hug me. He knew that nothing he did could make the hurt go away. He is such a good man... i could not make it through things like this without him.

4 yrs now. we have had 2 teens, 3 baby or toddlers (0-2), and 3 young children (3-7)
