The dining plan...but as part of a whole package. It was wonderful and more food than we could ever get through!
That's the problem I'm having-if I would buy the whole package it would be cheaper-but we got a great deal on our room at the SOG(only450 for 7d/6n) and I think the tickets run about 180.00 for a 4 day pass-no dining option though-so I need to check around more

we're planning on stopping in Gainesville... we drive about 15 hours the first day... then the next day we're only 2 hours away!!

Once we move to GA-we'll only be about 8hrs away from Disney and I was thinking about another trip then-maybe just the kids and me

:goodvibes

We bought the Dining plan this past August. We used two 'points' once to dine at the California Grill but other than that...we ate in France at Epcot and many other wonderful restaurants. Many days we ate a big breakfast and therefore didn't need Lunch and other days we had a muffin for breakfast and a great lunch? I thought it exceptional...the night we dined in France (Chefs de France??) the bill for the 5 of us was almost $400 and it covered every penny incl gratuity so we thought that alone was more than worth it!! :cool1:

Do you drive at night so the kids can sleep most of the way???-that's what we do we leave around 7-8pm and by morning we are almost there

I know-right now if we drove straight thru it's about 22 hrs :earseek: -no way,so we are planning on one night by SIL so kids can stretch out and get a good nights sleep before we head out again

Did I miss it? What are the dates of your trip?

We're going to leave at 3am this time... and we should get to Gainesville by 5:30 or so.

Last time we left at 4:30am and got there at 7:30pm.

I know!!!!We can get the plan-but the price almost doesn't make it worth it-wish there was a better deal out there, but I haven't been able to find one yet

You can include the dining plan when you buy the disney my way tickets -you can pick from many options: one being hopper and another being dining included-so unless I looked wrong I did find the tickets -but as I mentioned it was about 100.00 more a ticket this way from the standard ticket :guilty:

I think I saw the tickets from Mousesaver.com offer, but I might be wrong

DH says for 100.00/person we could eat a lot for the time we'll be there(he doesn't get it though-400.00 doesn't go too far compared to what we could get)

Bet she's checking it out as we speak :rotfl:

No way. Too much work.

We have the DDE card and normally just use that for a discount.

When we first went over a year ago, it was cheaper for us to buy annual passes than it was for us to get a 7 Park Hooper pass.
:confused3

That is why we went ahead and got the annual passes.
