last night venus w/moon

Does any one have a good picture of Venus close to the crescent moon? My poor DH would like to see some that would be better than my little point and shoot can take ( that will teach him that I need a much nicer camera lol)?

Unless you mount a camera to a telescope, it is only going to look like a bright star. You would not be able to get any details on Venus. It is too far away for a camera lens to capture any details.

Hey OP, don't tell your husband this! Use this as an excuse to get a nicer camera. Then end will justify the means.

I was really hoping for a night sky picture that included the smiling cresent moon with venus above it, they were very close that night. It is okay, just in December someone got great pics so we thought there might be something out there.
