Last MNSSHP vs. First MVMCP?

My husband and I will be at Disney for the last 2 MNSSHPs and for the first 2 MVMCPs. We've never done either party, and are trying to decide which we should do (assuming we can get tickets). We aren't really into costumes or trick-or-treating, but the parade and shows for the Halloween party look awesome (big Hocus Pocus fans). But, I assume the last MNSSHPs will be sold out and wasn't sure what crowds for the first 2 MVMCPs might be like. Thanks for any suggestions!

MNSSHP routinely wins the "which would you do" question whenever it is asked. However, I would expect the early MVMCPs to be less crowded than the last MNSSHPs.

I have been to both a few times and I actually strongly prefer MVMCP!!!! BUT - I am not a big Halloween person in general. I will agree that the Halloween parade is wonderful, but as for the party itself? Meh. Christmas one wins for me, hands down.

The following of course if just my opinion! MNSSHP is the better of the two parties, but as already stated crowd levels will probably be much heavier with the last two compared to the first of the MVMCP. If you're trying to do and see a lot with smaller crowds do MVMCP. If you don't care about the crowds, then I would choose MNSSHP.

Halloween hands down.

That being said we are there the same time frame and we're going to the second to last Halloween party and first Christmas party this year because i think it will be super fun to do both.

Last week of Halloween parties will sell out.

Honestly I did The 10/31 MNSSHP and the 11/8 MVMCP last year. I would choose Halloween Party. Parade and Fireworks are amazing and so is the trick or treating.

With that said every MNSSHP was a sell out last year and so was the first MVMCP. There is no discount available for the MNSSHP on 10/31 and they are $81 a ticket. DVC and AP get a discount on the first MVMCP if that makes any difference but that first MVMCP will sell out too
