Wish I'd discovered these boards earlier, the info has been so helpful. I hadn't realized that excursions should have been booked weeks ago -- thought we'd do it on the ship. My 9 y.o. son wants to swin with the dolphins, but that is booked. Does anyone know of a non-Disney excursion at one of the two islands where we might have a shot at some time in the water with dolphins?

Try booking directly with dolphinencounters.com on Blue Lagoon Island in Naseau. We did this and saved money too

I'd follow Sher'rs advice as well. Even though DCL might be totally booked, you often can go directly to the vendor and space is often available. Ths only drawback to this is if for some reason the ship is not able to dock here, you may not be able to get your money back for the excursion. - Mike
