Last minute trip?

[RCM]

We're staying at SSR in April so when a last min trip came up for next week,Monday night. I thought I would try The Boardwalk or Wilderness Lodge. I was put on a waitlist and booked SSR. My question is........have any of you made a last minute trip and got passed the waitlist? What do you think my chances are at this late date?
