Last Minute Travel?

Has anyone used this website? Contemplating a last minute getaway, but not sure how reliable or legit the site is as far as booking with them.

We have used LMT plenty of times for hotels when we want to know the hotel we are booking. Sometimes Priceline and Hotwire don't hack it. Also, most bookings are cancelable up to 3 days before checkin...something PL and HW are lacking.

I used LMT to book a room in FL and got a great deal! The room was at a Crowne Plaza for about 180/night and the price on the door said the room usually goes for 400/night!!!
Another trick I learned is that if you start the booking process by clicking on the BOOK IT button for the hotel (this works for the "hidden" names) and then pretend you want to add something (like park tickets or rental car) then CONTINUE with the booking and whalla.. the name of the hotel appears. Then you can decide if you want to continue. You can take off the extra activity if you want to book the hotel. I found that not all hotels will give you an additional activity so you can see the hotel name, but it works for most

Usually I can tell by the pictures which hotel it is.

I have used them to book hotel rooms and got a great rate on a rental car. Never had a problem.

I used LMT to book my pre-cruise hotel room at Vancouver Airport for May 2013. Make sure you read the cancellation rules. I like that you can see the hotel name before you book.

I used last minute travel to get a flight and car rental combined... For a last minute trip and a GREAT price.

That being said I don't remember much else about it so it much have been good!

I find Bookit.com easier to navigate than this website with similar prices.

I used LMT several times and had no problems. I have also had to cancel a reservation with them and I was quickly refunded my money.

You can't compare the price posted on the door. If you just walk up to the counter and ask for a room, you're going to get a significant price cut off the price "on the door".

It was still a pretty nice room for the price I have never been in one so "fancy"
