Last Minute Travel/Sam's Club

I tried calling Sam's Club travel today to order a DL ticket and got the weird recording saying the number I called wasn't valid. Anyone else having trouble?

An earlier poster said Sam's club travel was closed because of Hurricane Matthew....

Does anyone have any recent experience with Last Minute Travel? I was wondereing if they still sent out an e-ticket that you can either print out or scan from the app at the turnstiles or if you wil instead get a voucher that you have to exchange at a ticket booth?

Also, I was wondering if tickets (or vouchers?) from LMT are upgradable? I am thinking of buying a 4 day non-hopper ticket for Disneyland for my husband but we might decide to park hop and so would need to upgrade so I am worried we might not be able to do that with this 3rd party ticket. Though if they give you a regular ticket at the turnstiles or ticket booth I can't see why you wouldn't be able to upgrade later, right?. My kids and I have APs and sometimes we park hop but not everytime and I don't want to waste the almost $40 difference if we decide not to use it when with my husband.

TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just called LMT and was told that for Disneyland you still get an e-ticket that you can take right to the turnstiles but that Disneyland will not give you one of their regular stock tickets. If that is the case, I can see that the LMT ticket might not be upgradable. The not getting a regular ticket at the turnstiles info is different than what I have read here on this thread so maybe something has changed or the LMT CS person I talket to is wrong? I'll try Disneyland and see what kind of answer I'll get.

You definitely get a regular paper ticket when you scan your eticket. It just prints out right there. If it's a multi-day ticket, the CM will take your picture and have you write your name on it.

I haven't tried to upgrade an LMT ticket, but others on the board have and were able to upgrade with no problems. Most also got to keep the discount.

Thanks!! That is great news! Do you think the same thing applies to LMT ticket to WDW and Universal Orlando?

WDW yes, Universal, I don't know. The LMT tickets issued for Disney are the exact same etickets you can buy directly through Disney's website, so they should work the same on both coasts. Universal has it's own rules, though.

Thanks again for the info! I'll see if I can get a accurate answer from the Universal people about 3rd party tickets.

I know it takes some people hours, but it took my tickets 9 days to be emailed to me. I called at 7 days and they said that they have delays once in a while. I hope it works out for you, but I wouldn't risk it if I was going just next week.

You HAVE to get a ticket printed out at the turnstile. It is the only way that you can get Fastpasses. They only scan your ticket now and etickets are just a placeholder and won't work. Every single person has to have an Ap Card or turnstile ticket (or you can use your phone if you scan those tickets in)

What I think the LMT rep meant is that they don't mail out those original "stock" tickets anymore. Very few 3rd party vendors do anymore. I asked as well. They only email etickets now. Those etickets still convert to a "hard" ticket at the turnstiles though.

You can upgrade those tickets at any ticket booth just other tickets. Every 3rd party vendor gives different discounts. Disney doesn't care. You will pay the price for one more day (ex: adding on a 5th single day from a 4 day single ticket will always cost $15 regardless of where you got your ticket)

Military tickets and special event tickets have different rules. And are usually non upgradable.
