Last Minute Travel.com?

DH and I found super cheap allegiant tickets ($130 rt) to Sanford/Orlando from a nearby airport for a 3 day weekend. We are doing Orlando on the cheap. Dollar rental car with coupon ended up $63 for the weekend in a econo car. We have had no luck finding anything reasonable on property. Right now we are in the Marriot village in the springhill suites for $104 a night (mousesavers rate) with free parking, no resort fee and a $25 food court credit. We bought tickets to Mickeys party and have a CM friend that can get us into the parks an additional day. 1 day is for shopping etc. I would love to be closer to disney especially at a better price than 104. Has anyone used Lastminutetravel to book a room? How was your experience? How can you find the hidden fees if using them? For example on Expedia it "appeared" you could book the Dolphin for $149 during our dates but in reality after the taxes, resort fees, and parking it was $209 a night. Still a great rate for that hotel but we are doing this trip on the cheap! Suggestions please??? Thank you!

I've used them a couple of times. If you sign up for their club(free) the prices are even cheaper! Or you can call and get cheaper too. The only problem I don't like is you can't really request a type of room. One time I got a king bed room, instead of 2 double beds, and they had no rooms left for our family at the hotel, But if thats not an issue for you I would book with them.

My wife won one of the staycation contests they had

we got spoiled with the deluxe resorts from that point on, and now own a DVC as well. ha

I noticed they had the resorts on there, they weren't named, but it was obvious which ones were which. I saw POR, FQ, and CSR for sure. They seemed to be rack rate. Is there a chance of getting a "last minute" deal ON property for cheaper than the rack rates?

It's funny because every time I see any reference to LMT.com I have flashbacks of that d@mn contest!

I wasted wayyyyyy too many hours trying to win one of those prizes.
