Last minute stay... Only SSR

But availability will probably be for the Preferred (more expensive) section. Last minutes booking will pay for owners getting Standard category at a cheaper point cost. I've booked marathon week end 2017 in a Standard section and I'm quite happy with the saving.

That's what I meant to say. Time will tell, some owners are point picky, other don't mind spending more to get more.

Everyone has different things they like to do on vacations to Disney. DH and I almost always drive so we have a car. There are several restaurants and things outside of Disney that we enjoy. We like the ease of going off property at SSR and OKW.

We spent our honeymoon at BLT and enjoyed being in a high rise with a lovely view. But we have a high rise condo in New Orleans on St. Charles Avenue with a view of the Mardi Gras parades so it's not that big deal of a deal to be in a high rise with a view like it might be for some. We like the convenience of SSR and love walking to Disney Springs.

But being on the monorail is great for people that have small children and want easy access to Magic Kingdom.

SSR is a very nice resort, my son and his wife both upper 20's with no children consider that the best resort in WDW. I guess Disney Springs has a lot to do with it. For me SSR is my top choice whenever we have a non-theme park visit. No matter what you pick you will have a great time!
