Last Minute Reservations?

So my wife asks me the question after about 5 minutes of listening to me complain about work and how I want to move to Florida... So do you want to go down to Disney next week? Well yea. The kids are off for spring break and so the question is... what is the chance we can get a studio anywhere on DVC property for the 26th through the 31st? MS of course was closed so I will try tomorrow and see what happens. Wish me luck.

I am not sure about next week but I know starting 3/31 I couldn't find anything the following week. Not even on travelocity or expedia.

We just got a room for this Saturday night at Vero Beach - booked it today. You never know. As the deadline for cancellations gets closer, rooms free up.

Well just to give you hope. Two weeks ago I booked this past Sunday and Monday nights in a studio at SSR.

Going on a business trip 3/29 - 4/1 at another hotel in Orlando; two days ago, Monday, 3/19, nothing was available, but today, Wednesday 3-21, was able to get a studio at SSR for 3/28 (only needed the one night).

I'm going solo, no DH, grown kids or grandkids. No parks this trip, just relaxing

Give it a try, we were in Boca last Friday March 16th, flight to Boston got cancelled, called MS, got a studio at OKW for that night and the 17th, Sunday was still booked, but said to call back when checking in due to loads of cancellations due to weather. Got to OKW, was helped by Heidi, she tried MS, they said I had to call, I did, MS was "very rude" said no, nothing but 1 bdrm, I said well I was told to try back, she said don't bother. Heidi at OKW was horrified, she went in back to her manager, he booked me the Sunday night right there, she said it was available and she could see it so why did MS said no availability?? HMM, so long story story, its worth calling, it worked out for us and it was Magical! Thank you to Heidi at OKW!
