Last Minute Reservation ????s

Last minute trip to Orlando!! We would like to stay this Sunday night on property somewhere. Any suggestions on how to get this best rate for a single night this close? We're DVC members but the DVC resorts are booked.

I'd suggest stopping at the Disney welcome center in Ocala. They might well have the best rates for one night at the last minute. Of course, if youre flying or taking the train, that dosn't help much. But, if you have wheels, this is your best bet.

So far as I know, none of the discount codes (link on top of this board for the DIS codes list, or at http://www.mousesavers.com) are applicable right now, but it's worth a look.

If you are driving down I-75 the Disney Information Center in Ocala already mentioned is your best bet.

I've heard of people just walking-up to a Disney hotel desk and saying "We're staying at the xxx hotel in Kissimmee for $75 and what's the best deal you can get me if I were to move here" and being offered the same discounted rates as Ocala offers...I've never done it myself though.

I called DVC back and a studio became available at OKW so we're staying there on points!!

Good thing since the Ocala Infomation Center hasn't had any resort discounts yet in 2002.
