Heading to Disneyland in the morning!! Very excited; just a last minute question or two.....

1. Is there a ribbon cutting each morning?

2. If so, what time do you recommend being there? We're staying off site, so the park "officially" opens at 8:00 am.

I'm sure there are more questions. Sorry for the late posting.....flying by the seat of my pants.:rotfl:

Thanks,

Tracy

I don't think there's a ribbon cutting (definitely no kind of opening ceremony like at WDW!). I understand they pick a "family of the day" to open the parks, but that's all, and I've never even seen that happen.

If you get to the gates 15-30 minutes early, that will help you beat the crowds, though. It'll take a few minutes to get through bag check so take that into account too.

Have a great trip! :flower3:

I don't recall there being a ribbon cutting. A rope drop yes.....

If it is a MM, and you plan on attending it, then arrive before 7 in the am. If you are not, or if it is a non MM, then before or as close to opening time as possible. That is a good plan, timing wise. Then collect your FP's. And continue to do so as they become available, as much as you can. I like to do that. If the lines are long, then use your FP. In the event even the FP line looks a bit daunting, then utilize the SRL. Not all ride attractions have that, but will have FP. Indy has both.

Have a really wonderful time at the land!

Nothing really to add. Aim for 30 minutes early every morning to get through the gates before most people and be towards the front of a rope drop.

Do you have a 3 day or longer PH? You will get one MM with one.
