Hiall, I am flying out on the 5th nov-& counting the seconds!!!
I have a couple of questions.

1) What is the cheapest way to call home as my mobile will not work out there

2) I am a non driver - any tips on how to get to disney and florida mall. my hotel doesn't do shuttles to WDW

Ok, well a phone card is definitely the best way to call home - they sell them at all the big stores that are knocking around (Walgreens, etc) and also usually your hotel will sell them too. Might be a good idea to shop around a bit first though rather than just buying the first one you come across because they do have different rates for calling the UK and some are better value than others.

As for how to get to WDW and the Florida Mall...ummm, well you didn't tell us where you are staying :)

If you are staying on I-Drive you can get the Lynx buses (http://www.golynx.com/) which are the public transport system for the area - the buses run to time, but some routes are slooooooow. From Seaworld area to TTC at WDW it's probably only 25 minutes which is good, but when we did I-drive to the Florida Mall it took about 40 minutes because it goes around the houses so to speak  The flip side to this though is it's cheap!

Otherwise you can book a Mears Shuttle which will pick up at your hotel or a nearby neighbours hotel (they'll tell you) and take you to all the major themeparks - I'm not sure but last I heard that was something like $12 return per person. If there's just two of you, then it's not too bad - but if there is a party of you then it may work out cheaper to get a taxi or towncar.

We will be staying at amerisuites near universal. I have arranged a town car with ******** to drop/pick from airport. I have checked the lynx website but it does not give you that much info about where the stops are. I dont mind a lesuirely bus ride on my days off from the parks as long as I know I am on the right bus!

Thanks for the advice about the phone cards I will definately shop round.
