Hello!

This is my first attempt at a pre-trip (and trip) report.

I'm Cari, 31yo Spanish teacher. I'm originally from Florida and lived there untill I was 27. I have been to Disney a few times (Last time was a one day visit to Epcot). My favorite Disney movie is Mulan.

My husband is Christian, 39yo Elementary School Teacher. He is originally fron NJ where we live now. He has been to Disney 3 times (Mostly just Epcot). His Favorite Disney movie is The Lion King.

We haven't been home since we moved up here to NJ. Even though he is from here he considers Florida home too since thats where he lived for 7 years before moving back up here 3.5 years ago.

Then there is the 100% NJ native in our group:

This is Chris. He will be 2 years and 4 months old when we go to Disney this month. He loves all his Disney Jr. friends but his number 1 guy is Buzz Lightyear.

Plan:.

Originally we were planning to do a huge 14 day Disney trip in 2017 as the first trip, that will have to be trip number 2 now :).

We were fortunate enough to have it be financially and logistically possible for us to make a trip home and include a trip to Disney along with it.

Our travel dates are as follows

We leave 7/22 and fly into MCO, we rent a car and drive down to Miami to stay with family for the first half of our trip. We will be there until 7/27. I won't be reporting much from this part of the trip as it will be mostly visiting with family and having everyone meet the baby.

On the 28th we drive up to Orlando. So far the plan is to spend the morning/afternoon eating lunch and shopping for stuff for the next week.

We are staying off site this time since the plan is kind of last minute we couldn't take advantage of any of the summer sales during the time we are there to stay.

We start our park days on the 29th and have 5 days to enjoy the parks. To see our plans so far click HERE for our Spreadsheet.

I hope you will follow us on our adventure and enjoy our trip report. I am still chasing a few ADRs that we want and I'll update here as our plans pan out more.

Your plans look good. Only 11 days left before you go, how exciting! Hope you guys have a great trip.
