Last minute memorabilia... (leaving in 3 days!)

Hi guys,

Each year a friend of mine makes those beautiful designs for our annual family trips... I usually have shirts done with that design.

Unfortunately, this year, we decided to travel a little bit earlier... She was so caught up with work that she could only make/send the designs today. (She works hard for her business, she's a total super star)

I have 3 days to do something with it. I usually have stuff done with Vista Print but the fastest shipping won't bring the merchandise on time. I'm also extremely busy at work so the clock is ticking...

My budget is also limited so it's a little too late for shirts so I can't have them printed anywhere else because it would be too expensive.

I think I will make door magnets with it...

... but any other last minute idea would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You could make your own t-shirts with the design. Just go to Staples and get the some Avery Fabric Transfer paper.

You could try contacting a local print shop. We have some great ones near us that do all kinds of promotional items for businesses and spirit wear for schools. If they can't do shirts, they might have other items in stock - like tote bags or drawstring backpacks.

You might be able to get same day printing with Staples.

Magnets are a great idea. What about ordering mugs to arrive after your trip, so you'll be able to remember it? Also, I've made luggage tags. You could do that and get Staples to laminate them for you.

I won't have the time to go shop t-shirts (sizing is complicated) but the Fabric Transfer Paper could be useful.

How did you do the luggage tags?

Good idea for the mugs. I completely forgot that I could also have stuff done after the trip itself. Great idea! :)

I have a Staples in front of my office.

I just made the tags up with PowerPoint, printed them, cut them and had them laminated a couple of times. Because I chose Staples' thicker laminate, I had them punch the hole. If you make them the size of tradtional luggage tags, you probably have a loop you can use, but mine were too big for that, so I just use a zip tie to put them on my luggage.

Here is a site with some Disney tags. You can use them as a template and replace the photo with your own, or add your own photo to them. I find Powerpoint is very useful for this, as you can overlay layers of text, photos or shapes to make what you want.

Thank you so much for the idea. I think my MIL and FIL will love it.
