Last minute flight help needed

My sister and I have decided to do a spontaneous trip to Disney to see PTN and Forever the weekend of the 19th. Unfortunately we didn't fully commit to the idea until yesterday. The flights have jumped in price over 100 dollars in the last couple days. I know they say that tuesdays are the cheapest day to buy flights...but am i just to close to the date for it to make a difference? If i wait until tomorrow to buy the tickets, am i running a large risk of it going up again? Or do you think its worth waiting and seeing? TIA

I don't have much experience with buying flights. I am willing to pull the trigger today if I need to!

Also, I'm aware at how ungodly busy its going to be due to the end of the 60th and also the last weekend that the regular HM is open for awhile. For us, this trip is so important!

I don't know anything about booking last minute flights. BUT you say "this trip is so important" so why wait? You are willing & able to pay the cost now, is saving 100 dollars worth even the chance you'll lose the flight?

Book now. You should have 24 hours to cancel the flights without penalty if the price goes down tomorrow. Each airline has their own 24 hour policy, so just double-check before booking. Also, I recall being able to reserve a flight with American Airlines for 24 hours without having a pay, so that's an option as well.

I'd book too and if it's SW, they'll change if the price drops without penalty. Jet Blue will issue a credit.
