You know how if you wait to the last minute it can either help or hurt. We are leaving next week for Disney. We have reservations to stay off site. I want to stay onsite really badly. Don't want to break the budget!! Our hotel (which we've used before and is clean and all) is only $35.00 a night. Of course you can't stay onsite for that cheap. But since there are no codes to get a discount this late..... do they hike up the prices at the end or lower them? Has anyone ever called a day or two ahead of going and found they dropped the prices maybe even just alittle? I know some hotels do that to fill up the rooms.
Any insight would be appreciated.

You might try calling and booking a room at one of the All Star resorts and say you want the AP rate (or AAA if you have that?) Because my last stay was pretty last minute and you don't have to actually have the Annual Pass when you call- just have to have it by the time you go to check in. They might still have some rooms at the AP rate (which for me recently was $49 plus tax per night). That's not a WHOLE lot more than you are already paying- and considering the benefits of staying onsite... definitely worth the extra $20 or so per night. IMO. :)
