last minute changes

Hi all-We were due to arrive at VB on Thursday 7/8 and then to BWV on Saturday. Last night my dog started bleeding from his nose. I took him to the vet this morning because it continued overnight. $300 later and the vet says it could be either a tick disease, something with his autoimmune or a brain tumor. He is 10 years old but very spunky. The bleeding stops and starts and I don't think we can kennel him. We have no one to keep him while we are away. I called DVC and pushed back the trip a few days, not going to VB just to BWV and arriving on Friday as not to lose points. My dilemma is if I need to cancel, I need to use by 8/31. Anyone know of getting last minute (2-3 weeks away) ressies? The vet looked at me like I was crazy even asking if I could leave him!! If it is a brain tumor, which she is leaning towards, we may have to put him down He's a great dog but I don't want him to suffer and he's limited if he keeps bleeding!

Oh well, just needed to vent. Keep your fingers crossed he gets better soon!

Sorry to hear about your dog. With a letter from the vet, MS may let you do a 1x banking exception. If not mid-end of August tends to be less crowded so you can probably get something.

You may need to be flexible on what, where and when. But you should be able to get something, particulalry after 8/15.

Hope all works out okay for dog and trip.
