Wow talk about last minute changes. We are leaving tomorrow to drive across the country. I have a convention in Pheonix. But the temptation has been way to much not to drive a little extra to Disneyland. It turns out that old friends of ours called last night and told us they now live 5 minutes from DL. So we are going out to visit and take a quick visit to the parks. Only have about a day and half so it will be quick. Any suggestions of what not to miss?? Any good pins coming out there???

I don't have any suggestions as I've never been to DL (I'm lucky to have made it to WDW)!!! I just wanted to wish you lots of fun on your trip and to wish you a HAPPY *ALMOST* ANNIVERSARY!!!!! :D

Well,
Brise Nannie - Thank you....I can't believe it's been a year....and yes my husband is being forced to eat the top part of the cake!!!

Flyinglizard-Hey How ya doing??? No I've never been!!!!

Madstrawberry-if everything goes good we will be there for a little bit on sunday and the whole day on monday....btw what are the current park hours...do you know???

Should I try to get to both CA and DL?

I'll be starting another thread tomorrow check it out!!

Hi Con,

When you enter the park and walk underneath the railroad tracks, pause a moment to read the sign over the arch...

As you turn the corner at the Emporium, onto Main Street, remind yourself that this was built almost 50 years ago. Walt Disney beamed as he roamed the park and greeted guests. This was his dream... his wish come true. Then you will understand what Walt Disney World is about.

When you leave the Magic Kingdom, don't forget to make the promise to yourself, "I will come back..." Because for the first time in your "Disney life", you are home.

If you decide to stay an extra day, and see California Adventure, be sure to experience "Soarin Over California"!

Have a great trip! Tell me all about it when you get back...

Dave

I usually hang out at the pin tation next to Showcase. The park (DL) is usually open
Sunday...9:00 a.m. and on Monday it is 10:00 a.m. but they let you in to Main Street half an hour earlier. DCA is open an hour later. Here is the # to call for times when you get in the area.....because they can change.
