Hi all! We have planned a last minute trip and will be arriving at MCO on Saturday 5/1. We'll need a full size or larger car from 12:30 pm 5/1 - 5:30 pm 5/8. I'm completely overwhelmed looking at all of the car rental information and am hoping you can all point me in the right direction. I don't even know which company to look at or who has the best deals? Please HELP! Thanks so much.

Always reserve in advance, otherwise you may find only expensive cars if you just walk up to the counter.

Using Travelocity you can see a spread of several car companies and their everyday low prices (not specials). However I suggest you go directly to the chosen rental company's site to do the actual booking; less hassles if something goes wrong or if you change your mind.

Even after you book (in most cases) you can keep checking back and booking something less expensive with a different company and cancelling your previous reservation.

Do not use a coupon code that you don't know the origin of or that you don't know you qualify for (such as being a member of AAA or possessing an Entertainment Book).

National has "Last Minute Specials" available. Rates at Orlando start at $19 per day.

Just an FYI, if you pickup the car at 12:30pm on 5/1 and return at 5:30pm on 5/8 the cost is $238. However if you could return the car on 5/8 at or before the time you pick it up on 5/1 then the cost is only $201.
