Last minute cancellation with National

Does anyone have experience with cancelling last minute with National Emerald club? The reservation does include a credit card.
I need a large vehicle(in Denver actually). I have a reservation for a minivan but it is cheaper to do Emerald Aisle if I can get what I want on the Aisle.
Can I cancel the reservation I don't need last minute?

Did you check the terms of your rental agreement? You will find the answer there. Usually reservations booked directly with car rental companies can be canceled without penalty.

Is There a Cancellation Fee?

Guaranteed Reservations: Cancellations are accepted up to one calendar day before reservation date. If the reservation is not cancelled, a No Show Fee of $50.00 (plus applicable taxes, surcharges, and lessor fees) will be charged to the credit card on the Guaranteed Reservation.
"No show"Customers: If the reservation is not canceled within 24 hours of the booked arrival time, National will charge a fee on the renter's credit card for vehicles that are reserved but not rented.

I could not find a definition of "guaranteed reservations". I thought it only applied to convertibles and maybe mini-vans.
