I was thinking of heading down for the last week or so of Pleasure Island... anyone else going to be in the area and want to meet up, close the place down right? :woohoo:

if I was only 2.5 hours away I would be there. to bad I am 26 hours away.

I've got a large group from my office going there on Saturday, September 13th which is 2 weeks before the final night. We figured the last night will be absolute bedlam! DW and I will be there on the final night too though.

Have you signed the Save PI petition? Not likely to do any good but we're trying!

I wish I could :(
We're going in October with another fun family and will have a night out w/out the kids. Not including The Boardwalk and that "U" place, where are some fun adult night spots?

With PI being closed you're pretty much limited to City Walk at Universal. It's very similar to PI but not as good. Still, it has a lot to offer. Most of the other nightlife in Orlando is in the downtown along Orange Avenue, Church Street and Wall Street.

I wish I could. I'd love to visit the AC one last time. I already have a trip to Vegas planned for early September and a trip to NOLA in December, so unfortunately, I really can't fit in another trip. I will look forward to reading people's reports about what the last nights of PI were like. I'll be very sorry to see it go.

I'll be at WDW between Sept 12 and 20, and hope to visit PI at least a couple of times during my trip. I've got to have a Kungaloosh and do my part to save the AC. (Yes, I've signed the petition, and circulated it to others to do the same.)
