So we have to be out of our villa for 11am on our day of departure, flight home at 8.45pm.

On our last trip at Easter we dropped our cases at DTD and just kept a holdall with us with a change of clothes etc. It was a cloudly day, not too hot so we used no sun cream and DH didn't get too sweaty :rotfl2:

Now thinking about this trip, there is no way I could fly home feeling like I did y'day after a day at a park, sticky, sweaty etc.....

What do you do on your last day? I would love to go to AK, crowds predicted at 1/10, lunch at yak and yeti... But where could we 'clean up'? A shower even?

Or we could just go to a mall or something :confused3 easier with no messing about :confused3

Ideas please? :goodvibes

Is it possible to call in at Blizzard beach to use the showers? not too far from AK.
We stay in hotels and try get late check out on last day if we are wanting to goto a park in the morning, not so easy in a villa.

Hmmm, we are buying standard AP's today so I guess we would have to pay to get into BB to use the showers?

We have been lucky in the past as able to stay in villa all day but both trips this year sees guests coming itno the villa on the day we leave :sad2:

My nutty lot are currently in the pool in torrential rain :confused3 Only in Florida :thumbsup2

We checked out of our villa at 10am and just headed straight to DTD. Spent a few hours doing last minute shopping and went to Disney Quest (this was last August) and then headed off to the airport. It was lovely and cool in Disney Quest.

We have been to a water park on the last day for a shower. I know at WH where we have stayed they have showers at the pool area, do they have any where you are staying?

Other than that it might have to be an indoor day to stay out of the heat :)

Would any of the hotels (non WDW properties) do a "day only" rate? Be worth ringing a hotel on I Drive or in the Disney area to see! I might be completely off here but its worth a shot if you really want to fit in another few hours at a park!

Lots of the airport hotels do, including the Hyatt which is inside the airport itself.

Thanks for the ideas and advice guys. We'll make a decision nearer the time :thumbsup2

Having arrived back last Saturday, we spent our last day (Friday 17th) at Disneyquest after checking out of OKW. Another option we looked at, as some have noted above, was to visit a water park and use the shower facilities there.

We ended up looking through some of the hotel websites (trivago, holidaysupermarket etc) a few days before the 17th, and we booked a room at the Clarion on Palm Parkway for £30. Although check-in was 16:00, we asked if we could have a room slightly earlier, and we pitched up at 15:30 and managed to get access to our room.

Well worth it to have a shower, repack our cases etc, and not too expensive in the overall scheme of things.
