Last day to book OBB?

We are cruising Fall Break next year. I would like to book a placeholder so that we could do another cruise Fall 2019. I want that one to be a post-WDW trip so I would like to book it for the second week of Fall break. Due to this I want the last day possible for booking possible.

Can I book at Midnight of the last day at Sea so my date will be two years from the date we finish the sailing?

I'm not sure that the booking desk is open 24/7. In looking at a past Navigator the Disney Vacation Planning desk hours were (on the last full day) 8:30am-10:00am and 4pm - 10pm.

I believe any time on that last full day will give you the same expiration date, morning or evening, so stop by when you find the desk open. Be aware that many people will wait until the last day and you may have a bit of a wait. It is not possible to book a future cruise or placeholder on debarkation day.

I second this. I would be waiting at the desk(s) 15 minutes before they open that last day before debarkation day.

In my experience, a lot of people show up at the desk with really no idea what they want to book. As such, they hem and haw and generally take a long time to go through the process.

Ever been waiting in a long line at a fast food restaurant and the person ahead of you (who's been waiting for several minutes, like you) walks up to the counter and ONLY THEN starts looking at the menu to think about what they want? The OBB desk is like that, but worse.
