On the last night of our 5 night cruise, we want to do one of these experiences. We will have eaten at Palo dinner the night before. Which do you recommend?

What is the procedure on the last day with suitcases? I have heard that we might be stuck in our formalwear for Remy because the suitcases need to be out by a certain time? Do we have to do that? Our flight is at 1:55pm the next day and we are using DCL transfers to the airport.

Suitcases that you want DCL to handle from stateroom to port (or check through to your airline if you're doing on-board checkin) need to be outside your stateroom by a certain time, I'm thinking it's 10pm but I am not certain.
You can keep a suitcase and bring it with you like a carry-on through customs at the port of disembarkation.

The Remy Dessert Experience is on Thursday afternoons at 3pm.

Is this for all 7 night itineraries? It wouldn't be available on Sunday (Day 2) of a 7 night Fantasy Western Caribbean? I ask, because we will be booking dining soon and want to book this for the first time. Thanks

Since you will already have had dinner at Palo, I would say Palo brunch is at the top of the list! It's just amazing!

Yes, just offered once per cruise.

Its a wonderful fun experience, do it if you can! :)

We have been going back and forth between that and the Remy brunch. We will be doing dinner again at Remy too. We love desserts. I am a little concerned about it being fairly close to dinner though, but I guess it's better to eat dessert first since life is uncertain:) I also didn't want it cutting into our potential times for tasting classes, but I guess we could do an earlier or really late one of these. Thanks

I understand your dilemma as we also wanted to try all the different options. On one 7-day cruise, we did Remy brunch, Remy dinner, Remy dessert experience, and Palo brunch. We had already tried Palo dinner and Remy dinner before, but the latter was so special that we had to do it again. We ended up doing Palo brunch and the Remy desserts on the same day. The only reason, it worked pretty well, is that all but the last two desserts are fairly light. If you enjoy those and then just be prepared to take a small bite of the heavier chocolate offerings at the end, you'll be ok for dinner. Also note that the last dessert is a duplicate of the dessert on the French dinner menu.

If you go for it, I would have a solid breakfast and skip lunch.

We did Remy on the last night of our last cruise and loved it. We have now decided that we will make this a tradition. It was a fitting highlight to end the cruise with. The quiet atmosphere was wonderful to sit and talk about the trip.

We packed everything before we went to dinner and kept one piece of carry on luggage with us as well as a change of clothes for the next day. So, our Remy clothes went in there together with everything else that we needed for the night (like toothbrush etc.) and our valuables. It really was not an issue.

There is no way we are skipping or going light on that chocolate dessert. We have had it before, and it's divine. I would rather just skip something at dinner. We will probably skip out on lunch and do a light breakfast though.

When we did it, we had the late dinner seating and we only had salads. But yes, Life is short, eat your dessert!!!
Its so good you will love it!

We did too. We were on a 4 day cruise and both experiences were only offered on our 1 sea day. We paced ourselves during brunch and had booked the earliest time available. The deserts were tasty and delightful. Most, as mentioned, were on the lighter side.

We had late dinner, but were too full to really eat more than a few bites of the salad and entree. We skipped desert. We let our server know that we would really only be tasting the offerings that night. My mom and I only went to take the kids, but dh tapped out and ordered room service.

We loved both experiences and don't regret having them on the same day, but next time I am glad that we will have 2 seas days and more nights overall. The Remy ambiance was really nice, so I am looking forward to dinner there one night on our next cruise.
