Last Day of school

Our kids last day of school is June 12!

June 12th here. We go back the week before labor day I think. But we get a week off at thanksgiving for my girls in public school and many days off during the year at my sons private school. I would rather go later into june and go back after labor day due to the fact that september is one of the hottests months we have here and it would be nice to sit by the pool that time of year. In fact I would give up spring and thanksgiving break to have more summertime.We are a warm weather family and would rather enjoy time off when it is hot.

My son's last day is next Wednesday and he graduates on June 6. Super early for NYC most gradations won't take place until late June.

The last day for NYC public schools is June 26. They return to school on September 8 or 9.

I thought we had it bad with June 10th! June 22nd and 26th? Yuck!

My son and I lived in Raleigh for 8 years. I hated the school calendar there. Kids should not be in school in August. I was so happy to move back home and return to a “normal” summer vacation.

Here in my town (in CT) the last day of school this year is June 26th. It was supposed to have been the 22nd, but there were a LOT Of snow days this year, so they add them on to the end of the year. And next year, the first day of school is September 1st.

It was supposed to be May 22, but now the kids have to go back after Memorial Day to make up 2 days due to the swine flu! We've had over half the state's confirmed and probable cases in my county and they shut down school for 2 days last month.

June 19th will be the last (1/2) day here. We go back September 1st next year.

May 29th here in Tx. It's a half day and we're leaving for a trip that afternoon. Unfortunately it's not Disney though. We start back up the end of august.

Supposed to end June 2, but thanks to a pre-emptive snow day (that never happened ) and a cold weather day, school now ends on June 4. Which means we are pulling DS out of the last two days of school, since our flight to WDW leaves at 8am on June 3...

My preschool baby ends school on June 4th.....the regular kids K-12 end June 9th.

I think we start back at the end of August sometime, I need to print out the school calendar for next year.

Our boys get out May 27th and we leave on June 6th. We are so happy we get to go this year. We had to cancel our trip last year b/c of the bad winter weather delaying the last day of school. This year thought it was gonna be a repeater but due to flooding and not winter weather. Kept praying every day that the river would go down and us not have school closed due to flooding. The prayer is working so far, but still lots and lots of rain in our forecast.
