Anyone ever been?
If not, would you like to go there?

----------------

I decided for my MAW trip to DLR,we're going to extend our trip,so it's 2 weeks total, and spend about 3 or 4 days in LV.
We'll drive from Anaheim, stay there, and then go back to Anaheim.
So if anyone's ever been, what's fun to do there?

I've never been there. I think it would be fun to go when I am older, though.

I live there :)
It sucks! It's hot, you see disgusting posters and billboards everywhere. When you're walking around the strip you see "certain" cards laying everywhere that the jobless like to hand out to perverted men..

Some good things: The roller coasters, the restaurants. The entertainment is pretty good, just not the adult entertainment

Visit the Stratospher, they have 3 coasters and an awesome restaruant that shows you all of Vegas. The M&M and Coca-cola factory and gameworks are all in the same place, that's awesome fun.

There's a great hibatchi grill over at the Tropicana I believe.

Hm....what else....the malls are awesome. Especially the one by Primm
You can go see the Fashion show mall, or visit the forum shops at Caesar's Palace.

I would also suggest seeing the blue man group at um...they moved it from the Luxor, so now it's at the Venetian, they're really cool.

Hah, this post is kinda long.
You can go to TI (Treasure Island) and see the pirate's show there.
At the Bellagio they have this big water show that plays along with music. Last time I saw they synced it with "My Heart Will Go On" and it was sooo cool.

At the Luxor you can watch Imax movies, if you don't know what they are then here: They're ginormous screens, and you walk in, (no food or drinks) and they like put this bar over you, so no bathroom breaks XD and you see the movie on this big screen and it's awesome. I saw the newest Fantasia there.

What else...what else...oh! The fremont street experience. You go in this big tunnel and they have a light show on the top of it. I haven't seen it since 97 :p

If I think of any more things to do I'll post them.

I want to go there. My parents go every year on their anniversary. They always stay at the Bellagio or Palms. My dad loves blackjack, but my mom prefers roulette =)

I've seen pictures, and I've seen it on tv. I have been wanting to go there since I was 12

I was going to go there a few months ago, then we decided not to. So maybe next year.

Nevada sucks, I hate it here. :sad2:

When I go to California this Summer, I don't want to come back to Nevada. I'd like to live there--I love California...sigh.

I have a lot of friends that like it there...
They say there's shows, hotels, mnm world, Coca Cola world... All that fun stuff.

The hot Las Vegas weather does NOT appeal to me, though. I prefer the rain.

I loved las vegas. I had a lot of fun. Do a cirque du solei show. I saw Ka and that one was really good (get tickets in advance!)
There's lots of sightseeing like the top of the 'eiffel tower' the dancing fountains at the Bellagio and just walking the strip is awesome. Madame Tussard's Wax mussem is also a lot of fun. You'll have a blast!

Actually, the Pirate show of old is no more. Now, "The Sirens of TI" takes its place. It's a more "adult show". (Along with the rest of Treasure Island--they got rid of their pirate theme in '03, I think, and the hotel is now contemporary and more 'adult'.) :sad2: Big Pirate crossbones sign? Gone. (I even saw it in the lot of this junkyard, where old Vegas signs go. Now the sign is a big "TI".)

It sucks, but eh.

OF COURSE THE SHOPPING is great too...and the star trek experience...even if you don't like star trek it's a lot of fun.

I'd love to go there and I certainly wouldn't mind the hot weather.

However:
Trip to Las Vegas = No trip to disney.
Hazzi + Long plane ride + Hot weather= Dehydration and vomiting.
I don't seem to agree with the planes air system and i lose my appetite and my thirst therefore i do not eat or drink but i still throw up and it hurts and i shake and i black out and yeh it just doesn't agree with me. I'm fine in the day and i'll run around like a loony so i would enjoy it and all. We went to disney in august with the free DDP and i came back having lost weight. Go figure.

Yeah it's pretty adult-ish but I still like it.

Vegas is ever changing my friend. I get upset that they get rid of all the hotels over 20 years old :(
I think the newest one to go was the Frontier. Lady luck is probably next

Been there many times,
and I like Vegas, it's very entertaining to look at :]
never been on any roller coasters there though @_@
